VITALITY SCORECARD

Investing in employee vitality is something that numerous organizations are now doing. Unfortunately, in practice there is often a lack of instruments to also measure the results of all efforts structurally. VitalFacts developed the Vitality Scorecard to structurally measure and monitor results.The Vitality Scorecard thus provides the perfect framework for engaging in dialogue about expectations and goals. In addition, it helps to monitor results and discuss them in consultation.

Within our Employability & Vitality Program, VitalFacts organizes the workshops “Your VitalityProfile” in Dutch and English. Employees rate workshop an 8.5. In particular, reviewing the Fitbit data together is enjoyed, which makes it truly personal. Employees are more aware of sustainable employability and vitality and are eager to put what they have learned to work. We see these as very important components to work on behavior change.

Jointly with a project team, 10-15 clear KPIs are put together that measure the success of efforts. This includes a clear definition of what the KPI is, what the standard is and what measurement frequency is used.

Many times we see that in organizations a lot of relevant information is already available, but it is not used structurally. In addition, analysis may reveal that desired information is not currently available. Introducing new measurement methods or systems is then an important step in getting to the desired end result.

RESULT

The Vitality Scorecard is a perfect framework to have a dialogue with each other about expectations and goals. It makes use of various sources of information and methods and tools and brings them together in an orderly fashion with standards trends. In addition, it helps to monitor results and discuss them in consultation with stakeholders.
