This workshop will show you what sleep is and why a good night’s sleep is so important to us. The structure and duration of sleep changes across age stages. We look at how this pattern goes and how you can improve it yourself.
Rituals are essential to improve the quality of sleep. In addition, the relationship between sleep and activity during the day is discussed in detail and we consider various factors that disrupt sleep rhythms, for example, working night shifts, light, evening work and diet.
Participants receive personalized practical tips and tricks to develop new daily routines that have an immediate impact on their daytime functioning and mood. The use of an activity tracker in conjunction with this workshop is an additional option. This makes improving sleep even more personal and easier.
