RACING FOR THE GOLDEN SHOE
VitalFacts offers several steps challenges between teams in which a challenging way to “compete the healthy.” Through the use of technology, anyone with a Fitbit can participate in the challenges. With each challenge, one team emerges victorious and there is an awards ceremony with a golden shoe award.
The Fitbit provides data that makes me even more aware of how I am really doing. I found it very valuable because it really gives you a lot more insight. How many steps, heart rate zones, etc. Participation in dry January revealed a drop in my heart rate. Very enlightening. I am glad I was able to participate and will definitely continue this!

EXECUTION
Teams compete in step challenges for the most steps with a (Fitbit) activity tracker. Challenges, teams, duration and objective can be customized in consultation with the client. After connecting the activity trackers to our platform, the competition can begin and participants will periodically receive a Workplace Race Journal with current intermediate rankings.
RESULT
This Workplace Race steps challenge encourages employees to exercise more, pull together as a team and compete with each other. In a closing (online) Award show, the inscribed Golden Shoe Award will be presented as the prize for the winning team.
